Every new car today is built to be one of many. Even at the top of the market, a six-figure car comes off a line that built a thousand others the same week.


Restomod specialists only offer configurators. What you get is a well-executed package someone else designed.

A coachbuilt car is a different category. The panels are formed for your car only. The interior is drawn around you, not selected from a catalogue. Very few workshops still do this. We are one of them.

From first conversation to your keys.

Concept
Together we're talking through what you want the car to be and what it should do. You will get initial sketches and a written proposal. If we agree to proceed, a deposit secures your slot and we begin sourcing your donor car.
Build
The engine, interior, and finish are built to the specification agreed in Phase I, with adjustments as the car takes shape. You receive updates along every step and are welcome in the workshop whenever you want to visit.
Delivery
We hand over the car at the workshop. You drive it home, or we arrange transport. Every PRINZIP R carries a build number and a bound record of its construction

Whats the typical project duration?

Full builds take 12-15 months; smaller projects 6-9 months.

How much do i need to invest for a re-imagined build?

Pricing is highly individual. Our 964 based backdate proudly compete with the best globally and are priced accordingly. Our Carrera 3.2 based backdate models can be considered more entry level and can start at around 199k EUR excl. a donor car we help you in procuring.

Can i supply my own donor or do you help me find one?

Both options are possible. 95% of our customers ask us to help with selection and procurement. We typically help broker a deal for a donor car in under 5 working days due to our excellent network.

What makes PRINZIP R different?

This also enables us to deliver quicker than most and avoid year long wait lists.

What is the typical payment schedule like?

A project starts with a small downpayment to secure the build slot and phase 1.
As next step you acquire the donor car from a private or commercial seller.
The following project work and corresponding payments are split in 3 phases:
1) A major part of the project fee is needed upfront to order parts and reserve work capacity.
2) A second share is paid after successfull restoration, respray and engine revision.
3) The final share is paid after the car has been tested and is ready for delivery or pickup.
